I’m a Canberra based potter in Australia working mainly in wheel thrown porcelain.

My images are not painted. I cut into the piece, incising, inlaying and inserting coloured porcelain. Unglazed exteriors are hand polished multiple times giving the vessels a luxurious feel.

I like people to touch and run their fingers over the velvet surfaces, cupping their hands around them to enjoy the intimacy that each handmade piece brings. I draw images from Australian wildlife and birdlife in particular, hoping to capture a unique Australian essence and humour.
