A Family Tree

This set was created specifically with the exhibition theme HOLD in mind … and all the intimacy it brings. It’s intended as a personal water jug and cup for your desk. The jug is polished porcelain with the feel of cold velvet - it has been altered to fit into the palm of one hand. It was all made on the wheel. The wren family is inlaid coloured porcelain.

HOLD Exhibition - 19 May to 2 July 2023

HOLD was an invitation for ceramic artists throughout Australia to respond to the theme and I’m very honoured to have been selected for inclusion with such fabulous ceramic artists.  HOLD ceramics exhibition opened this weekend and runs till 2 July 2023 at Belco Arts Centre with all works on sale.

Sorry if you were interested in purchasing this piece - it sold quickly before I had a chance to post. It might have been purchased by one of my subscribers as I give them advance notice by email whenever I’m taking something to a gallery - they are the first people to know about it.
